The Kevin Williamson remake of the 1979 movie ‘Time After Time’ has been pulled from its slot on the ABC network.
The show featured H.G Wells and Jack the Ripper as they play a game of cat and mouse in modern day New York. With soft rating and mixed reviews, ABC will not be airing the remaining episodes and replacing it with the game show ‘Match Game.’
The show was part of a crop of time-travel shows that have found their way onto networks including Making History and Timeless. But it doesn’t seem to have captured anyone’s attention.
Personally, I enjoyed Time After Time, it was well acted and moved at a decent rate although it seems like it would have been better suited for a remake movie rather than a TV show.
